Collection: Bolt-On Rubber Track Pads

Shop VectorMax bolt-on rubber track pads for steel-tracked excavators and other compatible construction equipment. These polyurethane track pads fasten to steel track shoes with existing mounting holes, creating a replaceable contact surface for work on asphalt, concrete, paving and other finished areas.

Bolt-on excavator track pads from 230mm to 500mm

The current range includes 230mm, 250mm, 300mm, 400mm, 450mm and 500mm widths. Bolt-on pads are available for compact mini excavators through larger machines, depending on the steel track-shoe width, mounting-hole pattern and operating requirements. The polyurethane contact body helps reduce direct steel-track marking, vibration and operating noise while retaining a reinforced mounting structure.

How to choose the correct bolt-on track pad

Machine brand and model are useful starting points, but the correct pad also depends on the measured track-shoe width and the position of the mounting holes. If you are unsure which product to buy, VectorMax product experts can help compare the available sizes. Send the machine brand and model, track-shoe width, clear photographs of the track shoe and the required quantity.

  • Measure the steel track shoe from outside edge to outside edge.
  • Confirm that suitable mounting holes are already present.
  • Photograph the top and underside of the track shoe.
  • Confirm whether you need replacement pads or a complete machine set.

See our excavator track pad measurement guide or review the polyurethane track pad information guide before ordering. Dealer, workshop, rental fleet and mixed-model enquiries are welcome.

BOLT-ON TRACK PAD GUIDE

Choosing Bolt-On Rubber Track Pads

Bolt-on rubber track pads are a practical choice for steel-tracked excavators that already have compatible mounting holes in the track shoes. VectorMax polyurethane bolt-on pads create a replaceable contact surface between the steel undercarriage and the ground, helping reduce direct steel contact on asphalt, concrete, paving and finished surfaces.

Our bolt-on range covers common excavator track widths from 230mm to 500mm. Correct fitment depends on the track-shoe width and the mounting-hole pattern, not only the machine make or model. Before ordering, compare the pad drawing with your existing track shoe or send our team clear measurements and photographs.

Measurements to confirm

  • Track-shoe width in millimetres
  • Bolt-hole spacing measured centre to centre
  • Number and diameter of the mounting holes
  • Excavator make, model and approximate operating weight

Where bolt-on pads work well

They are commonly selected for machines moving between construction sites and paved areas where bare steel tracks could mark the surface. Polyurethane provides wear resistance and impact absorption while retaining the stable steel-track base. Actual service life varies with machine weight, ground conditions, travel speed, installation and maintenance.

Installation and replacement

Use the specified fasteners and tightening procedure for your pad and track-shoe combination. Recheck fasteners after initial operation and inspect pads regularly for uneven wear, looseness or damage. Individual pads can be replaced without changing the entire set when the surrounding track components remain serviceable.

Not sure whether your track shoes have the right holes? Follow our track pad measurement guide, or compare this mounting style with our clip-on rubber track pads.

Bolt-on track pad FAQs

Can I choose a pad using only the excavator model?

The model is a useful starting point, but track shoes can differ on the same machine. Confirm the shoe width and mounting-hole pattern before ordering.

Do bolt-on pads fit steel tracks without mounting holes?

No. Bolt-on pads require a compatible hole pattern. A clip-on mounting style may be more suitable when the grouser profile allows it.

Can I order one replacement pad?

Yes. VectorMax can supply individual replacement pads as well as complete machine sets, subject to model and stock confirmation.
