Measure Before You Order

Collect four simple details so VectorMax can confirm the correct width and mounting configuration before shipment.

How to measure

Four details for faster fitment confirmation

Clear photos with a tape measure visible are strongly recommended.

01

Identify the machine

Record the equipment brand, exact model, and approximate operating weight.

02

Measure track shoe width

Measure the steel track shoe from outer edge to outer edge in millimetres.

03

Confirm mounting style

Photograph the top and underside to identify bolt-on, clip-on, or single-side clip-on mounting.

04

Count required pieces

Confirm pads per side and whether you need one side or a complete machine set.

Track width and mounting holes

Use clear photos to confirm the correct pad.

Track width decides which pad model can fit your machine, and bolt-on pads require matching mounting holes.

Measuring steel track shoe width with a tape measure

Measure the steel track width

Measure the track shoe from outer edge to outer edge. Track width determines which track pad model your equipment can use. For example, a 450mm track fits a 450mm track pad.

Steel track mounting holes required for bolt-on track pads

Check bolt-on mounting holes

Customers who want bolt-on track pads must confirm that the steel track has pre-drilled mounting holes like this. Only tracks with mounting holes can use bolt-on track pads.
